Kenny is a lifelong resident of Rusk and graduate of the class of ’77.  He enjoyed sports and has maintained many of those friendships over the years.  In his own words, “I ran hard and fast for the devil, and now I run hard and fast for Jesus.”

He has a father’s heart and speaks prophetically to encourage his brothers and sisters in the local body.  Married 36 years to his wife, Rhonda, they have been blessed with a large family and diverse ministry, including 20 years of sharing the gospel in the county jail. He is also the owner/operator of Kenny Birdwell Construction for 25 years and is well-known in the local business community.
